有用的post-experience MiF不比1-Year MBA 便宜多少......(more expensive but not that much, e.g. Cambridge: 49K vs 40K, INSEAD: 66K vs 47K, HKU: 492K vs 336K, other school are also similar ratio..)
一年不工作的oppotunity cost 比這個數大太多了...
P.S. 有用的post-experience MiF當然不多: 搞硬技術的, 多數都去了讀pre-experience master, 到了有幾年工作經驗要混人脈的, 就多數會想要一個general master, such that 可以方便認識到不同行業的人仕...but not only limited to classmate in the same industry only.
Hello there,
Well the most important thing to do is look at where you want to get and see what would be useful. Often both degrees are helpful. It’s true that an MBA can sometimes carry more prestige, but everything depends on your goals. A Masters in Finance is more “technically” oriented towards the numbers, so if that’s what you need then go for it, an MBA is more general and focused on management…. but both can lead you to good positions in PE,
