that's great. but my major concern at present is HSBC loan. Not sure whether my application will be approved, and if yes, when. Do you have any idea how to find an apartment near LBS? I heard it's very expensive and hard to book in advance when I am in China. I will only go to London in early Sept. and don't have enough time to find the apartment

Fingers crossed that your loan can be approved soon.

You can contact LBS first to see if they can provide any accommodation for oversea students or any useful information that can assist your search. If they don't, I suggest you come to London a bit earlier thus have more time to find an ideal place.

Regent's Park, where LBS is located, is a very central place in London. The rent around that area tends to be quite high. Here are two web sites you may find helpful,

thanks. There is no student hall in LBS and we may only apply for student hall in other colleges quite far way from the school. I will try to find an apartment after I arrive in London in early Sept. Maybe have to live in a small hotel before i finally find an apartment

Since LBS has become part of UCL. I assume you are eligible for applying UCL's student accommodation? Just a pure guess though.

no. it's too far away from lbs - at least 30 minutes by bus. i will live in hotel before i can find an apartment
