上网查了一下，up until recently 和 until recently后面都是可以跟一般过去时的... 问题复杂了...

过游牧生活了。相同的道理，用完成式have sheltered，且句意焦点改变了。Innuit 过着

游牧生活是主要焦点，但(D)将焦点转移到Innuit 住在圆顶冰屋了….   (happyfish0517已

经提到了)

综合以上，我认为答案(A)比答案(B)好。请问(B)真的是正确答案吗?

此题答案也是后人做出来的，没人知道ETS的原始标准答案。开始的答案在B和D之间 - 但不代表权威。

我的concern 是：题之外的背景知识不好作为判断依据吧 - 根据“头脑空白原则”，ETS应是假设大家都没有专业背景知识下make chooses的。

但怕的是 常常因为我们不是美国人的观点 很多他们认为是很平常的认知 受制文化不同 我们却觉得很特别 特别是ETS的出题 常常就是根据一些发生事件、历史、研究、文化、社会制度等出题。因为这题 我实在无法从语法上挑出(A)(B)选项的错误 所以 才会从句意(逻辑)下手

用逻辑判断的例子最常出现在Dangling句子中

有一个例子OG#220 (可能不够贴切)

其中(B)选项在语法上并无错误，但是以历史的常识来看England是不可能Began in 1788 and lasted for 100 years. 所以OG解释也指出这个逻辑上的错误。

220. For almost a hundred years after having its begin­ning in 1788, England exiled some 160,000 criminals to Australia.

(A)  For almost a hundred years after having its beginning in 1788,

(B)   Beginning in 1788 for a period of a hundred years,

(C)  Beginning a period of almost a hundred years, in 1788

(D)  During a hundred years, a period beginning in 1788,

(E)   Over a period of a hundred years beginning in 1788,

Aside from being wordy and awkward, choice A is illogical: because its refers grammatically to England, A states non­sensically that England had its beginning in 1788. Choice B is similarly illogical, because the initial verb phrase Begin­ning in 1788 ... modifies England, the subject of the main clause.

这题选A好么==，during recent time 和 until recently是不一样的哇！！！during recent time更侧重说明最近怎么样，而until recently是直到现在，至于那个up until recently，给出的解释是up和until意思重合也就是只能用until recenly
