新人求定位mba，本科GPA较渣。。。

明年开始奔4的老阿姨来求定位mba。。。。
gmat730，本科在新西兰念的学的finance,GPA真心低9分里面只有6.6，毕业后去美国Tulane读了个master of finance,成绩倒还可以有3.72GPA，08年毕业碰到金融危机后回国，阴差阳错的做上了和专业基本没啥关系的工作，AML反洗钱。。。第一家公司（某知名的新闻媒体外企）工作了3年半，其中一年半时间是manager，然后12年到一家美资银行做compliance consultant,从事和反洗钱还有全球制裁有关的工作直到现在
我看到论坛里面好多咨询阿四大阿投行阿这样高大上的工作经验，相比之下我觉得我这个真的是有点冷门加低端。。。。而且和B school总感觉不是很相称，但是！！我不想换方向，个人觉得这是每个国家越来越重视的一块然后这几年积累的经验也不想放弃（工作之余拿到了FRM和CAMS资格），然而问题来了，我应该target哪些学校？？因为年龄也上去了，希望可以在mba后留在国外工作，继续从事AML类的但是偏向于consulting或银行中后台的工作，之前做了一些research, M7我不会申请，想在s16或者其他学校里面挑选一点不是那么focus在investment和financial consultant上的学校，最后还有就是希望有一定数额的奖学金（当然这个是可遇不可求），求各位给我一些建议！！！跪谢！！

The problem here is AML-related jobs are not traditional post-MBA career options. Not sure if an MBA can really helpwith your career. Why do you want to get an MBA?

cos although i wanna stick with AML, i would like to move into a more managerial type of role or more towards marketing and sales sides of the AML business. I did check out other degrees but can't seem to find one that really fits and considering my previous degrees and the fact that i'm working in banking industry, MBA feels like a best option for me right now.
appreciated to hear more thoughts from you

Sorry I really don't have much knowledge on this. I'm actually thinking, if you are happy with your current cmpany, maybe you can talk with the company to see if they can sponsor your MBA or at lease secure a post-MBA position for you?

Hello there,
Well your profile is pretty interesting. You are in a  unique sub-section of the finance/banking industry, and you have interesting international experience (and it looks like an interesting personal story too). Since you aren’t coming from a top school with a top GPA, and from a top firm, M7 can be challenging (but feel free to apply to 1-2 of your favorite), and S16 is more reasonable.

With a good story and great essays, you should be able to do well,
