去西班牙IE？给点意见

Everybody shall have a assessment about himself and choose a most suitabl business school.

I got the offer and scholarship from IE and based my decision on following reasons:

1. shorter time compared with the other two

2. not too expensive with the scholarship specially for the Chinese

3. the people in IE are quick to respond and helpful duirng admission

4. the placement after graduation depends mostly on one's ambition and orientation.

besides, ESADE is highly ranked by Business Week.

Hi Juliahom 112,

As I understand, IE's offer is good for 2 years, when they give me the offer they put down these words on the offer letter. Please go back check again or you may try to ask the school. I believe for scholarship you can not defer it. But you should be able to apply again next year when you decided to go to IE again.

After IE you can try to find job in UK and Spain(assume you pick up some Spanish).

In countries such as Germany, France....it will be kind of difficult if you don't speak German/Franch....I also don'T speak German but work here in Bonn. My suggestion is you don't need to master the language before you try to find a job....what you need is:

Master in English + basic German/Franch/Spanish skill and show your interest in improving that language. (But I can only speak for international companies) The reason is that in these companies the official language is often English. Their employees also have good level of English ability. Acturally as long as you don't need to deal directly with the client, you can do all the work in English.I am working here for T-Mobile (The 3rd biggest telecom company in US/Europe) and I know another Chinese who work in DHL also can only speak English....By the way we are not ABC. English is not our native language.

谢谢你的建议，我觉得很是受用。我还是下定决心先有点工作经验再去读书（我申请的时候还没有足够的条件，下这个决心）。我先工作的目的是使自己的经验更丰富，更有自信（听起来有点逗，但是我真实的想法）。还有就是我现在并没有完全确定我的职业目标，只是有个模糊的想法。

but IE is not one of the best school, as you said, well, I don't know much about it. the admission office is very kind to Chinese student, I think they can't attract many good students, anyway, I will try,

I do not think IE can not attract very good students so that they treat you nice, just because they hope chinese students go Span

>> Just because IE is not very well known in China doesn't mean that it can not attract good students. It just shows that they didn't allocate enough marketing resources IN CHINA yet. Acturally in Europe people's general concept(The business people who know MBA, not the old lady next door)is still that IE better than those so called hot new MBAs such as Oxford.My flatmate is handling recruitment in DHL. This year they recruit new MBAs for internship from schools like LBS, INSEAD,IESE,ESADE, IE,HEC, SDA, and RSM only. By the way I am not going to IE so I am definitly not defending it for self interest reasons.
