What can be inferred about the woman? (“due” sounds the same as “do”)

Is there someone help me understand? I more preferred the answer(b) She got a pay raise last year . Maybe translating the sentence "I’m due for my first next year" into chinese words would help . Thanks a lot!

What does the man mean? (pet peeves: something that makes you mad or drives you crazy)
Why the answer is (d) He hate standing in line. Is the answer wrong? I think it is obviou the answer is (c) He dislike people who think they know every thing.
