2002年8月语法与有几道答案(来源：中华网教育中心http://edu.china.com/zh_cn/elearn/exam/toefldiff/10000387/20030702/11498982_5.html)和水妖的语法笔记上不同，请问究竟谁对谁错：

还有21题，不太明白语法笔记的解释，如下:
Each (of functions) (of the body),even thinking ,requires (the expenditure)  (of energy).
笔记上说f functions ->of function   each(pron.) of+名词单数
我直接改成each function 可以吗？？

可是， 在2002年5月21题中：
Bacteria and (similiar) one-celled organisms reproduce by cell division, each of the daughter (cell) then (beginning) a new life  (as a) distinct organism.
笔记上又说：cell->cells,  因为each of后面必须+复数
到底哪个对？？
这里的beginning用v-ing是因为非谓语形式吗？

这里的beginning 是非谓语形式---独立主格结构.each of the daughter cell是该结构的主语.

我觉得这里改成each funchtion 或者是each of the functions 都可以.这个和each of the daughter cell是一样的.关键应该是在于这个定冠词the.
