which前面是and  但是根本找不到 与前面与which 平行的结构 啊。
并且如果非要加一个从句也是that。which的使用一般是非限定性定语从句，要用逗号隔开的。

intended meaning 应该是：
although alice published a number of  essays
her third novel brought her widest acclaim
这两句必然是转折关系，虽然alice published很多essays ,但是就第三个给他带来荣誉了
然后依次组2,4 。2这样看就是 修饰the third novel ;4修饰 widest acclaim
于是这样一理，BDE 都不满足我说的结构 直接delete
然后A both  as well as 再看原句时也可以看出错误 直接delete

c选项中的published in1982是作为分词来修饰前面提到的book的，本身就是被动形式的分词
这个句子的真正谓语应该是brought
也就是说，后面句子的主干是book brought her acclaim
是什么样的book呢？1982年出版的book

有大牛可以解释一下， 如果这道题把D选项的which去掉，那C选项和D选项那个比较对？

虽然知道一个是主动 一个被动，但是为什么 D 的 was published ... and winning... 也是对的啊。 og解释看的好混乱。。
