I’ve realized that this might not be the place to search for MPA fellows, but given that ChaseDream has no portion dedicated to the MPA candidates and I’m a relatively frequent visitor to this (MBA – North America) section myself, I dared to post the message here.
I’m admitted to two well respected MPA programs (Heinz CMU and Fels U Penn) in the U.S., one with a third of tuition covered and the other with a full tuition waiver plus living stipends. Both programs start in fall 2005, so I’ll sure be seeing some of you MBA guys in the same university/area, J
As a matter of fact, the MPA application process bears too much commonality with the MBA one: GMAT/GRE/TOEFL, undergraduate transcripts, essays, references, interviews (optional), and so on. As such, I owe much of the gratitude to ChaseDream, which I believe is a perfect platform to unite all the fellows in the same trench. There certainly are a host of websites for this purpose, but as you’ll agree with me, ChaseDream is unquestionably the best.
For those of you who haven’t made up his or her mind to pursue a MBA degree, I strongly suggest you do more research on the alternatives—there are tons of master degrees out there, you don’t have to stuck with any particular ones; for those who are pondering over a MPA degree, I salute you and encourage you to take it seriously.
Life is short. Money and fame should not be the only things in our minds. It’s such a shame to see our nation—and the so-called elites—define success solely in economic terms.   |
