dense有自己的比较级denser

我觉得正确答案应该是D。解这道题可以从metal入手，metal是可数名词，因此单数形式之前必须有限定词，这里只有D符合条件。

我用google查过，有less dense 这个用法。可能是固定用法。

A) is not correct because , "A soft" signifys a following countable noun.
So, at least use " a less dense metal"  or" the least dense metal"
