That is assumming at least GMAT>750, (I think about 780).

That will help, but not necessary...especially if someone didn't do that well on GMAT, due to a lousy maths score.

可是美国top10 law school平均分是176呀。老外的论坛中好像有很多170的。为什么对中国学生来说，考170这么难。是不是大多数考美国法学院的xdjm是本科学法律的，学习太忙，平时英语不是很牛呀？（除了北大法律系）

大家给个说法吧。

LSAT English is extremely difficult compared to GMAT.

That being said, GMAT>750 is not necessary for scoring in the 170's on the LSAT -- especially if the test taker is weak at maths, but good at verbal (which is rare among Chinese students.)

老外论坛？你见过考得不好的人炫耀自己分数的吗，都是靠的好的人才说，所以觉得特多。中国考得好的人绝对有虽然不多，而且是大陆背景，只是大家一般不认识不知道罢了，不要把别人想得太差

YALE：2004年入学新生的LSAT主要分数段也只是：169~174之间！

我准备了一个月(有日常工作）,六月考的,不过只考了170.练习时上过178，基本在174左右．

我想说的是可以速成，但很难把握具体能考多好．

It really depends on individuals.  To me, I prepared for it for about 3 months, practicing around 175, but ended up with a 171.  One month after the LSAT, I took the GMAT with minimum preparation, and cracked a 750.  The GMAT is totally one whole level below the LSAT.

Agree totally.

GMAT is far easier than LSAT on the English skills.
