topic20帮忙score一下吧

TOPIC 20
Different children have different environments when they grow up. Some may be brought up in the countryside, others may be in a big city. Such as New York , Tokyo. But as far as I am concerned, it is better for a child to grow up in the countryside.

First of all, every one of us knows that the environment of the countryside is much better than that of big cities. There’re fresh air , pure streams, blue sky, green fields, all of which will do good to child’s health. Contrary , there’re only toxic gases, polluted water in big cities.

Furthermore, staying in big cities always makes people depressed. With seeing so many skyscrapers and hurry herds all the time, life may seems restless and quite dull to children.

Of course, argument will be raised agaist my point. Some people might argue that growing up in bit cities, children can learn much more knowledge from the museum or library. But I would reply, all the knowledge comes from the nature. In countryside, children can see grasshoppers , frogs, nightingales with their own eyes. They can plant rose, lilac with their own hands. These lively experience will give them more impressive knowledge than the dark letters printed on white paper.

Besides, childhood may be the only period that one can be close to the nature. Grown up means saying boodbye to the nature for the majority of the people.

Taking into accounts all these factors, we may safely come to the conclusion that growing up in the countryside is better than in big cities for children.
