[求助] Get in a top 15 ?

A Top 15, such as Tuck, is my goal. Do I have a chance? What can I do for that then?

Background:

Gmat 720, GPA < 2.9 , Toefl 260, 8 years W/E ( Banking for 3 years, an international Telecom Company for 3 years, Partner for 1.5 years so far) , Not a top university.

Upgrading Gmat and Toefl possibly.

YES， I think so, as long as you work hard on Essay, Interview and Resume.

Exactly, Essay is particularly  important to me, otherwise I can even not have an opportinity to see them. Also I think a higher GMAT is a key  to me.

But I am a little busy this year. What do you think if I use this Gmat of 720 to apply? Can I get  an interview considering too low GPA?

Essay, you must want to say Essay. It is a problem too. In fact, I really do not care too much what the school is good at, whatever it is finance, general management or running a company. because I go to the business school to improve myself in every aspect.  So what I care is the ranking. I want to go to a school as good as I can.

Can you give me some opinions on which school is comparatively easy for us?

I think GMAT 720 is enough for you to apply any business school. You need to write strong essays to market yourself. If you do well in essays, you even can go HBS, Wharton.

You said you don't care schools, but for good essays, you must know each school. When you know more about schools, I'm sure you can find which you really like.

Your GMAT, TOEFL and W/E are stong enough, but your GPA is not very qualified to top 5. You may try 1-2 in top 5, and then 2-3 in top 15.

yes, I must dig in every school I am going to apply to.

Based on your understanding of schools, which schools do weigh GPA less comparatively among Top 15? or  focus more on experience and less on selecting youngers? you know I will be 31 then.
