请教：加拿大的约克大学到底怎么样啊？

本来不想再申请别的学校了的。很惭愧得说，rotman没有要我。

但是后来一个老师说约克大学不怎么样。当然，他是教授级别的。可是对于我们普通同学来说，约可到底怎么样啊？

How can you say that? Although it's not the best, it's much better than most Canada business schools. Ranked the fouth in Canada.

Agree with duoduo.  The best for Schulich is its location.  The graduates are easier to find job, even though salary is not high.  York as whole is not a 1st-tier school, yet its Schulich B-school is very famous.  The main problem for Schulich MBA program is that it admit too many students.  That's why Schulich's BBA which has few gratuates are much more welcomed by recruiters.

在加拿大范围内，如果可以选Toronto或者UBC的话尽量避免York

to be honest, york is not that bad. i think it can be counted in the first class business schools in canada. so, just take it.

Currently York ranked only after Rotman and Queen. Like Rotman and Queen, most Chinese graduates can find their first job in Canada (much better than other Canadian Business school). Ivey was better than York 2 or 3 years ago, but it is sliding down.

York in Canada = Purdue in the US

Schulich MBA is top four B school in Canada along with rotman, Ivey and Queens. Schulich is pretty much separated from the rest of York U, so don't worry too much about York U's reputation.  
Schulich is strong at Marketing, International business, accounting and strategy; and it is a star on the move thanks to its strategy to embrace globalization.
