有个问题：主系表结构的句子比较应该与主谓（没有宾语）类的相同吧，不需要系动词。

补充一下刚才关于主系表的：如果前后时态相同，可以省略系动词。

如果时态不同，则需要补出。如：

The economy of Florida is
        more diversified than
        it
        was ten years ago.

I agree. 比较的基本原则也是清晰，简洁

主系表结构因为前面只有一个名词成分，as/than后如果是名词还是能很清晰的指出什么和什么比较，所以is/are可以省。但省略的前提是比较前后的时态一致，如果是过去和现在比较，动词依然不能省略。
