可是如果跟crafted并列, was so light 就变成修饰the Menomini. 这在逻辑上是讲不通的, 整个句子的意思子就illogical; 况且the Menomini应该指一种人群, 就象the older, 应该用复数谓语动词were, 而不是was.

在这个问题上ETS早在去年就承认自己的错误了!!!

大意是说对184中E的解释欠妥. 那个逗号加了可以表示加强, 但并不是required. In conclusion: yet若不是引导一个独立的句子, 前面不用逗号!!!

是不是缺谓语动词呢WAS呢

a canoe was so light 是对的，但没有a canoe  so light，

这里ＷＡＳ　修饰a canoe一点错都没有，加个ＹＥＴ仅仅是加强转折语气而已，＜(about..), (with...), which could carry four persons or eight hundred pounds of baggage)＞这里面说a canoe那么厉害，但其实用白桦树做的，是很轻的，所以加个ＹＥＴ

这个句子的整体结构应该是这样的(From the         )the Menomini crafted a canoe＜(about..), (with...), which could carry four persons or eight hundred pounds of baggage)＞was  so light that a person ...
