What happend to me is the terrible traffic jam from Berkeley to Downtown, which make me to get the wrong conclusion.

As to weather, Chicago is terrible. I went to Chicago at least 7 times ,and SF 5-6 times. hehe

Driving in Bay area is as bad as that in Chicago

SF's public transportation is ok,  Chicago's public transportation may not be safe if you go back home at night.

Anyway, B school selection is career oriented. should put 99.99 % weight on ur career

you just stay there for 2 years. But i bet 80% graduates of Hass will stay at California

but GSB's graduates will go everywhere in the world.

thanks, opeman, for your first-hand information. i also owe u a lot specially coz i don't have the chance to visit the campus due to visa problem

now i love chicago even more. really feel lucky to go to such a great place with u and all other admitted CDers

帮着BERKELEY说点好话.倒不是反对楼主,如果是我,我也选UCHICAGO.只是为了多提供点信息给大家.

CHICAGO气候比BERKELEY差的太远了,冬天特别冷.BERKELEY紧挨着硅谷,如果想在HI-TECH公司里混,还是很有优势的.对于亚洲人,尤其中国人,在旧金山湾区生活一段时间可以结识好多朋友.CHICAGO黑人特别多,所以,治安有点那个.不想种族歧视,只是说说实情.

要是我，肯定选Haas。我现在就呆在中西部，一年里有半年多时间是冬天，前天还下雪呢，都快憋疯了。而且现在觉得地点对MBA来说太重要了，平常上课没什么，到了找Intern找工作时，地点上的差距一下就出来了。读MBA的目的是什么？对大多数人来说，不就是找份好工作么。
