The issue of whether people behave differently when they dress different clothes is a controversial and complex one. Some people think it is ridiculous to say that people act differently just because of their clothes, while others believe there is a strong tie between people's behavior and clothes. As far as I am concerned, I agree to the latter. My reasons are as following.
First of all, people choose different clothes according to their job, mood, etc. Nowadays, almost everyone has different "faces" to meet the demand of the society. One of my friends, who is a manager in a big company, appears to be very serious in her office. However, when she dates with her boyfriend in her spare time, she always chooses to wear her lovely skirts instead of uniforms and smile sweetly. In fact, her colleagues can hardly recognize her when meeting her in the street. And she does appear to be very lazy in her sleeping dress, she told me that she was relaxed a lot after changing her clothes at home.
In addition, different clothes may affect people's mood to some extent. As for me, if I have worn a jeans jacket, I always feel excited and want to play some sports games. But I will never act like an energetic boy when I dress in a princess's style. Due to the high pressure people bear in their career, some psychologists even suggest people to change their dressing style in order to live more happily.
Admittedly, Rose is always Rose no matter what she wears, and her characters will never change just because she changes her clothes. But no one can deny that people acts differently when they are in different clothes. This modern society requires us to have a double-face, which means we must appear differently in facing different things and people. For example, we wear as decent office ladies and act gracefully in our offices, but undoubtedly we will put on the apron while we are cooking in the kithchen.
So, from what I have discussed, I surely agree to the statement that people behave differently in different clothes. On the one hand, we choose clothes according to our mood or special conditions; on the other hand, clothes influence our behavior in return.
