我现在的背景申请NA Top3有可能么？

TOP PE可能有些困难，但为啥非要走TOP PE，TOP的就那么几个。其他二三档的也不错啊~而且你有了TOP10 MBA ...

。。。不top不行啊，大陆不top的话平台不行，收入太低，完全不是PE的意思。。。至少弘毅、鼎辉、中信产等如果之前没有IB或者PE经验，不好进，即使你是M7 MBA

所以他这样背景比较适合TMT的VC，VC不大要求IB背景。

thx..PE is just one of my career options, im pretty curious what kind of bg is prefered in top tier PEs? I know IBD ->PE is quite a classic routine, but how abt those non-C level industry individuals? no chance at all?

thx, but im thinking otherwise, i doubt if the application is totally depended on gmat score, just checked HWS avg gmat score is around 720, i dont think getting a fair high score is too difficult to me, im just talking abt my on-paper competivitiness(gmat excluded) here, or one step further - how possible a top3 MBA degree will help me breaking into top PE?

hm...all my exp are in tech world, does it matter how good i perform in tech(related) roles?

will i get greater chance by telling that i was promoted from analyst to asso within 15 months in a top3 US IB and used to supervise 15 ppl and 3 projects? or how abt being the founder of a tech company which generates 3m RMB revenue anually? i know it's not a big deal compare to those hardcore folks here, but still i think not everyone has done it?

will an oxbridge master helps?

Previous IB or Industry experience 3-5 years can get you to top PE in China. Of course your background must be strong, always big names. For global top PE, you need even stronger names. I heard for KKR, if there is any name on your resume that is not Harvard, Stanford, GS, Mckinsey, etc. Your resume will be quickly deleted.

You can certainly try to apply to Top 3 with a GMAT of 720. Good luck with that.

that's right, top PE firms  block the hiring from B-school, they want someone from top IB, know the market, and work really hard, I heard that the K one's China head always call desk phone at mid night, to check the newbies are still in office or not!!!

the big three in China are more focusing on the consulting background than IB
