I only know one MPA, my brother-in-law, who is an japanese lawyer with 10+ years experience before he went to Harvard with his wife in 2009. He did not get a job, just a post-mpa internship in a top law firm for business development. That law firm is a partner with Harvard MPA program.Then he returned to Japan after staying for 4 months in usa.I had a talk with him before he left, and from what he told me, the MPA@Harvard career prospect for foreigners was way gloomy.
yale mba would subsidize students who devote themselves to ngo because of the salary sacrifice. As Yale career report shows, the median salary is only around $74k for ngo work, which seems not too low. But the private sector median salary is $100K for Yale MBA.
