identified后面到底是加as还是to be?

题目的大意是一个很好的情况使得今年会成为这个国家历史上最好的一年，后面是解释这个具体的情况的。主要就是考的破折号那个地方还有ABCD四个成分的平行吧

2. A or B. 破折号和冒号都有解释说明的作用，标点基本不会成为唯一考点，应该还有其他错误.

请问第一题为什么不选e呢？我是觉得b那里是非限定修饰不太对。能不能分析一下？

E nearly 8 million people who identified themselves as P.S., live in  一下是我的想法哈：


1 who identified themselve 时态是错的，因为这个句子是在陈述现在的。 而B用现在分词修饰people，就避免了跟主句时态不同的尴尬
2  “，”在live in的前面看着很别扭。
3 如果你用who。。。做限定的定语从句，nearly 8 million people 前面应该有 the 。

请教下版主，第一题half of the people, doing, 这里doing会不会有修饰歧义？ 可能是认为自己是XXX的人中的一般，也可能是8 million people中 一般认为自己是XXX？

为什么这样啊

弱弱的问，the nearly 8 million 与nearly 8 million 有区别么？？
