杜克大学临床信息管理硕士(Master of Management in Clinical Informatics, 简称MMCi) 由杜克大学福库商学院(The Fuqau School of Business)和杜克医学院合作成立的一个医疗信息管理项目。该项目成立于2010年，是全美目前为止第一个颁授临床信息的工商管理硕士。杜克大学成立该项目的初衷和高速发展的职业医疗保健有关。巨大的市场要求高等学府能够培养具有多方面的技能的和跨越众多学科的专业人才。
第一年MMCi招收了23名学生（共4名中国学生），2011招收34名学生（共1名中国学生），大多都是医学背景，也有少数的商科背景。这个项目的特点是要求学生必须在学习期间实习或工作，主要实习在Duke Hospital及SAS医疗机构。就业机会主要集中在IT directors, project managers, systems/application analysts, quality directors等。

MMCi的目标：
1.Train informaticians and health professionals to thoughtfully apply technology in order to improve the performance of providers, payers and regulators; to enhance patient care; and to promote the translation of scientific discovery into clinical practice.
2.Provide insight into the interaction and interdependencies of informatics, advanced analytics, process improvement methodology, and business management principles.
3.Hone functional skills and the ability to think strategically in a global business environment, allowing the immediate application of new-won knowledge and skills.
4.Enhance opportunities for professional roles in a variety of health arenas, from payer and health systems to biomedical research and development.Assist in building a network of national and global contacts.
申请要求：
1. 具有四年本科学历(An undergraduate degree from a 4-year accredited program)
2. 具有四年本科学历或以上学历的成绩单（Academic transcripts and graduate transcripts as relevant）
3. 两到三篇短论文（Responses to essay questions to assess readiness and interest in the MMCi program）
4. 五年内的GMAT或GRE成绩（GMAT or GRE Scores that are within 5 years of the test date and available from the Testing Service.）
5. 两封推荐信，一封有关你工作情况的推荐和一封有关你学术情况的推荐（Two letters of recommendation:One that addresses your work or education experience and conveys your ability to work at the appropriate level of a master's program.One that addresses your interpersonal skills, values or character.）
6. 项目主任的面试（An interview with the program director by phone or in-person.）
7. 建议申请学生具备大学微积分，统计和计算机相关的知识（College level calculus and statistics and computer skills are recommended.）
8. 国际学生如果在非英语授课的大学获得本科学历，需要提供托福或雅思成绩 (International students: If you did not earn an undergraduate or graduate degree from a school whose primary language of instruction is English, you must submit a valid score from the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) or International English Language Testing System (IELTS).
