Admitted by Pepperdine, heard of this university?

So supprise that I received admission decision today. Now I have to worry about the expense and visa problem. As we all know, USA visa is not easy to get. Has anyone else received the same offer?

I know this school. It is in California, near LA. Third Tier. One of my friend went to this school in 2000. Now, she works for a small company in LA. Not worse to study in such b-school, I think, though she got scholarship at that time.

能不能请教一下Third Tier 是怎么评的呢，businessweek 上的ranking也是这么说的。我是打的擦边球进去的，我的gmat并不高，不过好在eassy和面试还不赖吧。

Third Tier is according Businessweek Ranking, which concentrates more on schools' reputations.     It is made by collected feedbacks from MBAs and recruiters...

Me too, but Paul didn't mention any about FA, how about yours? The tuition is so high that I don't think I can offer it. Think about the living expenses, Malibu is, partibularly, close to LA but the commute between them is too worse, I heard. I might not choose Graziadio School, which's full-time MBA was recently ranked in among top 70s. You know it better than I do, I guess. Good luck!

Thanks all. Yes, I am also worried about the expense, I was told by the interviewer that you have to get a GMAT higher that 670 or so as one qualification of sholarship. You may also get $1,500/per term for research assistantship. And most of the Chinese students choose to live off-campus comparing to the school's dormitory rate, in that case you have to drive to commute between the school and your apartment.


Anyway, this is the first offer I get, share my happiness!

我没面试，说想推迟面试就直接把offer发来了，10000美元一学期。荒唐的是拿到offer还叫我去面试。我正在想要不要去约校友呢，tianyu已经回去了。我觉得读两年书总费用不超过50万，即使按照它那个奇贵无比的住宿来算，还是能接受的。反正好学校我也申过了，没要我也没办法。我也想通了，如果每个人都能通过自己的努力成为牛人的话，牛人也无所谓牛人了。

我手头现在也只有他家一个offer，90%的可能性会去pepperdine了。
