反正还有一个星期,闲着问个问题

很想知道,如果面试了chicago, wharton and columbia, 最后一个都不进的可能大吗?有没有谁知道这样倒霉的人啊?
理性上觉得应该继续准备材料,可是又很懒,提不起精神, 所以看看有没有三个一个都不进的前例,也算刺激一下,继续努力准备 second round

我MENTOR跟我说过去,曾经有个哥们TOP10申请了8所,拿了8所INTERVIEW

If you get rejected once or twice, it's probably luck. If you get the same result more than three or four times, then that should send you a very strong signal that your application is generally good enough to get an interview, but not good enough to get in.

If that happened to me, I would not waste my time on R2, and instead spend a few months thinking about what is wrong with my application. Sometimes, the more you want something, the lower your chances of success, because you can't think clearly.

I like this. Attitude is very important here, in the whole process of application.

LZ 对finance真是100%的兴趣 不过如果我是你 哪怕仍然有(1/2)^3=12.5% 的概率R1失利 这个时候也难免有些惰性。不过个人建议可以做些soft preparation 比如想想如何把你申过的三家的故事 对应到其它家的每一篇essay。菜有了 就看客官要不要点了。

Jason, 你当时申请时也是真的这样想的吗?你是优秀生,而且essay写的又那么好,申请时没有这么多顾虑吧?

我到觉得是好的面试不一定能进,但是差的就肯定不能进,当然obama的儿子或者女儿除外。
