劳烦走过路过，救助小妹一下。 Is it better for children to grow up in the countryside than in a big city.Do you agree or disagree? ecent years have seen a heated debate about children'S growth environment .Some contend that big city is definately better than countryside.Others,however,contradict this view and argue that countryside is preferable.As far as I am concerned,I would prefer metropolitan because it generates more advantages for children's development. Admittedly,children have less chance to be exposed to violence,pornography and attractions in countryside.Compared to big city,it is peaceful.Children are less likely to assess to TV,Internet and Hollywood films.Hence,it seems that kids are more devoted to study and less destracted .However,big city possesses more merits that outweight village. Most important of all,city education institutions have highly qualified and well-experienced teaching staff and advanced facilities.Many of these qualified teachers have been to overseas and learned in world-class institutions.In this way,they specialize in specific areas and have a number of amazing experiences,which can be passed down to next generations.Besides,these good teachers know most efficient techniques for education.Thus,children taught by them accept infomation and technology faster and more effectively.Moreover,90% of countrysides in China are not equipped with computers,nor are they get assess to internet.Children in countryside schools can hardly know about latest news,inventions and discoveries.In contrast, children in big city have opportunity to read news through internet,various kinds of magazines and listen to radion broadcast,all of which greatly broaden their horrizon.It is obvious that city school is better for children to receive education. Another strong argument for my preference is that children in big city have much more opportunity to learn foreign language,thus they are more qualified to further studies overseas.For instance,English,French and Spanish are quite popular in high schools and universities.Besides,abundant language training institions are avaliable for children.Therefore,children can learn fluent second language.Going abroad for study is a life-time experience that children will never forget.It cultivates their confidence,independence and inhances their communication skills looked for by employers.Employers want employees who work well in a team,communicate effectively and make informed decisions,which can be gained through overseas study.According to my experience,most employees in Business 500 were educated in big city when they were young and more than half have been abroad for higher education.This is not to deny countryside education.Instead,it objectively proves that city education benefits career development. Taking into account of all of these aspects,we may finally draw the conclusion that big city is much better for children's development and career path. |
