People attend college or university for many different reasons (for example, new experiences, career preparation, and increased knowledge).Why do you think people attend college or university? Use specific reasons and examples to support your answer.

Issue of why people go to school  is a complex question, different people hold different opinions due to their distinct background. As far as I am concerned , There are three main reasons: learning more knowledge, getting the communicate skills and improving the moral, which are all crucial for people to work well.

 

 

 

First of all, one of the most essential reasons that people should attend college is that they could learn more knowledge in particular area. People will be more competitive in the job market when they have particular skills. For instance, one who is major in finance in the university has the knowledge about investing and stock so that he\she has the capacity to work in the bank or stock corporation, while others who do not have such knowledge could not compete with him\her when applying for that occupation.

 

 

 

The second significant reason is that in college people could get communication skills, which is also indispensable for people to work in the future. Good communication skills help people express their thoughts and emotions, and then people could get better understanding and support from others. In that case, managers are not willing to hire those people who are poor communicators and they can not do well in the job as well. While, in colleges there are many activities and opportunities, in which people can participate, to improve the communication skills. As such skills are significant and people can get them in universities, people are certain to get into the colleges.

 

 

 

Last but not the least, when people attend college, their moral and ethics are also improved. Good moral standard is the most important aspect when people are at work, even throughout their lives. Only if the people who are with the good values and moral values could they do right thing and not do harm to others and societies. As we all know, Hitler is very intelligence, but he is a dictator and bring great disaster to the whole world. Besides, in daily life, the polices may accept a bribe and also do harm to the society in the end. In colleges people accept the education such as the characters of great people in history or in modern world and I think it will be more or less useful to teach people to be good.

To sum up, as discussed above, people really should go to the colleges because everyone must go to work and they could get the information such as knowledge, communication skills and moral which are indispensable for work..
