以下是引用bonzi在2008-4-11 1:59:00的发言:Seems like you know little about the education system in the US. The finest institutions of higher learning are almost always liberal arts colleges, like Harvard College, Yale College, Middlebury, Bowdoin, Williams, Swarthmore...these schools are big names in America across ages and enjoy much much more prestige than any other so-called research institute. In fact, research-intensive is in no way a reflection of the reputation of the school nor the quality of its faculty and student body. What you've mentioned as "teaching college" are most likely to be the massive community schools offering adult eduation or serving as a stepping stone for high school grads. 我真是无语!逻辑混乱啊!我们在这里讨论phd项目,这些big name有么! |
