Duke internship situation for Class 2008

Just heard from Nautic that more than 70% Chinese first year students in Duke had already secured a internship at this moment, a result much postive than the same period last year. As Nautic wish to share details and insights with more cders, I would like to raise the same question on intership situation in the forum and hope Nautic could give us some lights on the situation in the school. Thanks a lot.

Thanks for asking. The on-campus recruiting is almost finished in duke now. 60%-70% chinese students got at least one internship offer though couple of dukies are still waiting for the final results. Currently, five chinese students scured investment banking offers (JP Morgan NY, BOA NY, Credit Suisse Asia x 2, Goldman Sachs Asia). Other offers came from industry including Barclays retail banking, Eli Lilly marketing, Eli Lilly finance, Bristol-Myers Squibb marketing, GMAC corporate finance x 2, RJR corporate finance, Dell Center of Competency, American Express Risk Management, Dupont Leadership Program, Infosys consulting x 2.
