The Illinois MBA program does not conduct phone interviews nor off-campus interviews at this time.

我可怎么回复他呢？显然没办法去on-campus啊。可是如果不面试，是不是不太好啊？

We have received your application and the evaluation and review process has begun.  

In an effort to know you better and to give you an opportunity to learn more about the Illinois MBA, we would like to invite you to an on-campus interview with a member of the admissions committee.  While an interview is not required, we hope you will take advantage of this opportunity to visit us.  To schedule your formal 30-minute evaluative interview, with an optional tour, lunch, and class visit, please click on the Schedule Interview button located on the MBA Online Application website.  (https://cbadbsrv.cba.uiuc.edu/MBA_Application/index.asp)  lease respond within 10 days.  Also note that tours, lunches, and class visits will not be available before January 30, 2006 or after April 30, 2006.

Please note if you are planning to have lunch with a student, lunch times are 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM.  You will need to schedule this on-line along with your interview.   Campus tours are available and will leave from Suite 404 David Kinley Hall at 11:00 AM and return at 11:30 AM.  Reservations are not required for tours.  If you are interested in lunch and/or a campus tour, please plan your schedule accordingly.

我觉得这所学校对其他中国学生的政策应该是一致的，所以也不用太担心。写信过去说说自己的情况好了，尽量争取一个phone interview，告诉他们你对这所学校有多感兴趣，非常愿意愿意打电话过去，希望他们能安排。如果不行也不用太担心，毕竟国内的申请者有机会专程去一趟的还是少数。
