急问: Cornell, Darden, Tuck 的 Deadline 问题

一般top学校的R2 deadline 是在 early Jan.

但是, Cornell 共有5-round,

1.Cornell Deadline	Notification
Round 1	10/03/05	11/30/05
Round 2	11/07/05	01/25/06
Round 3	12/05/05	02/22/06
Round 4	01/04/06	03/21/06
Round 5	03/01/06	05/03/06

那么它的R4是不是相当与其它top school 的R2呢? 一般来说，中国学生要有可能录取的话，应该是by 哪一个deadline呢？

2. Darden 有4-round.

中国申请人申请R-3录取机会大不大呢？

我来不急赶 Early-Dec， 请问，如果我该Eearly-Jan的，是不是相当于其他top-school 的R2呢？

I think you can only apply when you are ready, geneally speaking, it's
more difficult to get in Jan rounds or afterwards. Based on my
understanding, those who get admitted in round 3,4,5 are very strong
applicants. I guess it's very hard to get a  stats on how
many  have  applied  and  get accepted. On the
other hand, there maybe less Chinese peers in those rounds. Good luck.

对于一般top school分三轮的,不是说R1 和 R2之间区别不是很大吗（即便是对与中国申请人）? （当然，在准备好的情况下，the earlier, the better),大多数的R2都是在Early-Jan的。

那为什么Cornell 的R4（total 5轮, R4在Jan),Darden的 R3(Jan，total 4轮,R3在Jan),Tuck的R3(Jan，total 4轮,R3在Jan),录取机会就很小呢？

一月份的一轮未必是第三轮，比如芝加哥，纽约都是第二轮。第二轮是没什么问题的。去年塔克的第三轮取得人也不少啊。不过还是越早越好，但质量比时间重要。

我也赶不及cornell的前几轮。

round 4 是internationsl students 和 申请scholarship的deadline
