The Nanyang Business School at Nanyang Technological University is ranked 5th in the world and 1st outside the United States for accounting research. The MSc (Accountancy)*programme leverages on the school's long tradition and track record of more than 50 years in training executives in accounting and finance-related fields for leadership roles in Singapore and beyond. The school is accredited for accounting by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business. It has had a decade-long collaboration with the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, one of the top accounting schools in the US.
The Singapore Accountancy Commission (SAC)* has set sights for Singapore to become the accountancy hub for the Asia-Pacific region, and the MSc (Accountancy)* is well-positioned to buttress this effort.
While prior work experience is encouraged, fresh graduates with non-accounting degrees can get a head start in the accountancy profession with the MSc (Accountancy)* programme. The programme is accredited by the SAC to qualify for the Singapore Qualification Programme (SQP). The rigorous MSc (Accountancy)* curriculum will prepare its graduates well for the exams of the SQP and other international professional accounting bodies, thus accelerating your entry into the accountancy profession.
