感谢开贴。我是金融背景的，请问psu是不是在finance方面真的很弱，毕业后是不是真的很难找到工作。另外，提到的financial aid:100%. 是录取的中国人都是全奖加生活费吗？谢谢

同学你好，感谢你对PSU的兴趣

1. 从教学上说，PSU的finance教授真心不弱，甚至大大超出了我的预期。 从就业上说，finance方向主要做corporate finance，每年也有同学去I-banking，但是需要自己更努力networking，毕竟从村里到纽约单程要4，5个小时。

2. Financial aid包括GA/TA和奖学金，GA/TA是全奖加生活费加~80%保险，奖学金金额不确定。据我所知，90%的中国同学都是有GA的，就算第一年没有GA，第二年还可以申请的。

Financial aid at a glance

Financial aid comes in one of two ways as below:

1. GA(Graduate Assistantship)/TA(Teaching Assistantship) covers full tuition, monthly stipend and ~70-80% insurance. In return, GA/TA recipient need work 10 hours per week.

2. Scholarship may cover part of tuition. The amount may vary but no need to work 10 hours per week.

100% Chinese students received financial aid. Est. 90% received GA/TA. Even though GA was not granted first year, you can still apply for GA second year. This year we have a new Fellowship system. But I am still not sure how it works.

Financial aid is merit-based and "all applicants are automatically considered and there is no additional application required". Personal understanding GA/TA is highly correlated with GMAT score.

Living expenses at a glance

住: Townhouse shared living room ~500+，1 Bedroom apartment ~700+, 2 Bedroon apartment ~1000+, 上不封顶；

食：楼主一个人吃到胖死也用不了500/月，翔龙的钵钵鸡11，唐龙的中餐三菜一汤充10送1只要6元，Business building的blue chip 也就6，7块样子，我们还有地球上最好吃的冰淇淋，忘了几块钱两个球简直可以当饭吃了。如果自己做饭的话，目测一人300刀能搞定。Plus,宾州食品免税；

行：村里CATA bus system，学校去年帮graduate student搞了个Ride for 5月票卡，5刀/月， 但是据说现在要lottary draw，求证；

运动：学校有3个Gym, 室内篮球，壁球，乒乓球，跑步道都免费使用，如果要游泳和练器械需要办健身卡，180刀/年；

话费：AT&T family plan ~40能搞定

楼主，我的BG是T105+/G750，想要做corp finance，PSU在这个领域有没有比较紧密的corporate connections?
