Hi Jon,
I received my bachelor degree in Nanjing University and then got a master degree from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. After a 2-year stay in US, I returned to China and have worked in a boutique consulting firm ever since. The company I worked for, Kotler Marketing Group, is not a typical top-tier consulting firm, yet a more boutique one focusing on offering marketing & branding strategy. Its reputation among clients is highly exceptional. I contributed to several projects as assistant project manager and also as a key consultant, with clients being major, renowned companies in the industry.
I guess my biggest advantage is my career immersion in the area of marketing & branding strategy. But I'm not sure whether my work experience is enough (exactly 3 years), and whether a master degree would be plus for MBA application.
Currently I set my goal as Judge B-school of Cambridge. Do you think I should give it a try this year, or should I accumulate more experience before actually submitting application?
Thanks in advance!!!
B.R.
