各位牛牛们，关于D项的them，可不可以替换成challenges？因为我觉得them也有指代前面的investors的嫌疑，虽然可以通过后面的内容判断排除这个嫌疑，但是GMAT的原则不是应该明确为最佳吗？望各位牛牛们解释一下你们的想法？

them是明确指代同一个东西=the numerous challenges facing the companies，你要换需要换成these challenges或者those challenges造成明确重复

原文这么出就太简单了，就是考你them和these的指代区别，如果把E的sales for 换成sales of就更好了
