127. Joan of Arc, a youngFrenchwoman who claimed to be divinely inspired, turned the tide of
Englishvictories in her country by liberating the city of Orléans and she persuadedCharles VII of
France toclaim his throne.
(A) she persuaded Charles VII of France to claim his throne
(B) persuaded Charles VII of France in claiming his throne
(C) persuading that the throne be claimed by Charles VIIof France
(D)persuaded Charles VII of Franceto claim his throne
(E) persuading that Charles VII of France should claim the throne

然后 persuade x to y 所以选了d
a里面she多余
by suggesting?? 。。。

楼主的意思是turned... by liberating and persuading,persuading能不能和liberating属于同一个级别
我也有这个疑惑,所以来CD上看有没有人讨论,我个人觉得应该要写成by liberating and by persuading
之前有看过这样的例子sth is caused not by... but by... 。。

Joan of Arc turned ... and persuaded Charles VII of
France to claim his throne.
如果是by ...

127. Joan of Arc, a young French woman who claimed to be divinely inspired, turned the tide of English victories in her country by liberating the city of Orléans and she persuaded Charles VII of France to claim his throne.
(A) she persuaded Charles VII of France to claim his throne
(B) persuaded Charles VII of France in claiming his throne
(C) persuading that the throne be claimed by Charles VII of France
(D) persuaded Charles VII of France to claim his throne (correct)
(E) persuading that Charles VII of France should claim the throne
WHO IS Joan of Arc?
那如果改为persuading Charles VII of France to claim his throne呢?
