曼哈顿语法讲解...问题求解

各位NN，求助啊！
昨天看了一个曼哈顿5THSC的中文版，出现了很多问题，求助于众神~
谢谢！

1、Pong is a classic game from which (have/has) descended many current computer pastimes.     倒装的助动词，选择哪一个 还有解释阿？

2、The board is investigating compensation packages of several excutives in order to determine how much THEY  (THESE EXECUTIVES ) may have been improperly awarded.  为什么括号里的比外面的要好呢？

3、关系代词在which\that之间的选择：非核心名词修饰语，用 逗号+WHICH
                                                            核心名词修饰语，用THAT，不加逗号...            这样的说法对么？

4、时态顺序举了个例子， The scientist believes that the machine would be wonderful!    为什么错了...

5.降到过去完成时的时候，提到了一个注意：

句子甚至可以这样写：第一句用一般现在时描述一个更早的事件，第二句用过去完成时表达一个较晚的事件预示影响还在持续。

Right： The band U2 WAS just one of many new groups on the rock music scene in the early 1980’s, but less than ten years later, U2 HAD fully ECLIPSED its early rivals in the pantheon of popular music.
这是不是矛盾了？？？   到底哪个是对的呢？？？

6、降到语气里面的 IF......THEN 结构时，这么说的，

1）            在将来不可能发生的事件（unlikely case-in the future）     到底是不可能发生  还是  可能发生？？？

If Sophie ate pizza tomorrow, then she would become ill.

2）            在过去从未发生的事件（case that never happened-in the past）      到底是过去从未发生  还是  发生了？？？

If Sophie had eaten pizza yesterday, then she would have become ill.

2.they指代有歧义~compensation packages and several excutives are both possible
3.我就不懂了，逗号点开一定要用which，至于句中that/which怎么区分，应该没有很强制的规定吧。。
4.时态不一致，believe一般现在，would be,过去将来。 应该改成will be，  p.s. 一般将来时在也是现在时哦。。
5.我也不懂你说的是什么意思，根据具体的句意来分析，例句我觉得是准确无误的。U2曾经是……，但是之后十年间它已经……了。
6.时态降一级来表示虚拟语气。第一句讲了她明天不可能吃pizza（有可能明天她一直忙着做工作），第二句讲的是她昨天不可能吃pizza（有可能她昨天一直被困亚马逊雨林）。

第五个是这样的，
橘黄色的字是“注意”提到的，但是他举的例子却是用的 “was”。。。  我就绝对好矛盾...

对于第六个困惑，我是觉得 句子里明明是肯定的单词，ate和had eaten，为什么表示的是不可能呢？

这个就是时态降格表示虚拟语气，你想，如果虚拟语气用的也是正常的时态的话，就没有办法体现出它是虚拟的了。
eg. if weather permits, i will go out tomorrow.
     if the moon crashed into Earth tomorrow, nothing would leave.
不知道例子恰不恰当有没有错，不过大概就是这个意思，本人是个大迷糊。。

第五个，我是觉得时间参照点应该是 less than ten years later，也就是1990 。 然后U2 was其实是在后面过去完成时之前发生，而用了一般过去时，因为一般过去时可以表示很久以前，而且是作为后面U2这个band超过其他对手的一个背景说明，而后面的过去完成时又是在1990前发生的，有一个过去的时间参照点，可以用过去完成时。
