同位语从句只能that引导，其它的引导词都不行，你搜到的是宾语从句

同位语从句并不是只能由that引导哦，也可以由what、when、where等引导。我这里问的是可不可以把what引导的名词性从句（可以看做一个名词）看做recession的同位语

嗯嗯，gmat里面一般都是用that的。

但是你说的能不能当同位语，我的回答还是不能。resession也不是一个同位语的先行词
what manyfeared earlier in the year  。 what应该是feared的宾语。这也不是同位语从句的用法

我觉得这里what是作fear的宾语，不过你像你说的recession好像不能做同位语的先行词

呵呵，楼主看到我修改前的回答了，这两天脑子有点错乱。我已经修修了我的回答了。
而且好像what 也就跟I have no idear这样的固定搭配里用作同位语吧。用的太少了
