早上几道难题求助

各位大牛，这题百思不得其解啊～求助！！

简单的说一下
1.它的结构应该不是 are difficult to please, frugal, and reluctant 因为你要注意后面还有个to bargain。
所以它这句应该是 are difficult to please，are frugal, and reluctant to bargain.  
please是动词，pleased, pleasing才是形容词。所以合并后 C是正确的。

2. immune to 是固定用法意思是不受影响。再来结合句子意思，是说南极似乎以前都不受全球变暖影响，1957年后就不是这样了。所以E的选项简洁明了。
