As the price of gasoling rises, which makes substituting alcohol distilled from cereal grain attractive, the price of bread and livestock feed are sure to increase.
A. which makes substituting alcohol distilled from cereal grain attractive
E.making alcohol distilled from cereal grain an attractive substitute
正确的是E、但是A哪里错了?我这样理解A的:A中make的用法没错、make (doing)sth adj  、其次which引导非限定性定语从句修饰as分句、而且、E中如果用分词的话making也可能修饰后面的the price 啊
请高手解答一下、谢谢了!!

one of the classic mistake in GMAT SC

which is a noun modifier,it can only modify noun...here which modifies prices

but that is not the intended meaning

it is the rise of prices that triggers the latter actions

you should read the sentence more carefully

I think you will figure it out

nope

this sort of modifier is adverbial modifier

they always modifies preceding clause (not the closest noun, there is no ambiguity here )

I am 100% sure about this issue
