那么，如果是，只长出来一只手的话，我觉得说是“额外的”不太合适。由此，判断，“extra”是本来就多长的手。

感觉LZ说的好绕啊，我就只是简单的把它理解成少了并列连词and,改变了overcompensating和growing之间的关系。做语法题不需要去在内容上钻牛角尖吧
