我不明白的是OG对D的解释，"the final descriptor in present tense,now drawing conclusions...does not fit the opening clause,which is in present-perfect tense(have amassed a wealth...)and seems to modify adulthood"，修饰adulthood这部分我明白，但是时态有什么不对吗，一个是对过去的阐述一个是对现在的阐述，并且过去对现在也产生影响了，那么一个用现在完成时一个用现在时很合理啊，为什么OG认为不合理？

因为 now drawing 不是 immediate and unavoidable consequence 不是 立杆见影，不是不可避免的结果。
因此这里 now drawing .... 不能起到 修饰前半句 表示 结果的伴随状语。
amassed 很多knowledge 不会 马上导致 drawing solid conclusions
收集了许多信息，肯定不可能马上就能 得出结论。当中肯定要 经过筛选整理研究分类等吧。。
收集了信息，说不定 收集的没用 还得不出什么结论。

谢谢abc88，我看了那两个帖子，果真是豁然开朗。为了方便其他同学，我把重点摘抄如下：当ing修饰主语前面句子的主语是必须满足两个条件1、紧跟着主语2、其反映的是瞬时的结果或者是同时发生的但是次级优先的动作。
