这道题答案选E，我也选的E，但是看og解释上说B选项的错误是it指代不清，我很疑惑。
prep语法笔记上讲，it是完整指代，而that，those等是核心词指代，所以这里it指代a sketchy picture of the activities of an all-female cult,我觉得并没有指代不清啊……望牛人解释一下，感激不尽！

我觉得可能是这样的  

由于这里的it用在了开头的分句里，根据句意无法判断这个it到底是指代a sketchy picture还是指代a goddess （后面整个句子所要表达的意思根本与这里的it没有关系，base的逻辑宾语已经明确了），所以og上说B选项是it指代不清

这大概就跟og里有时候会将“动作的发出者不明确”判定为一个相对错误是一样的道理吧
