请问amount of/amounts of的用法，网上查了下后面应该都是跟不可数名词，可是这道题后面跟了复数名词carcinogens？？？

我在网上和电子词典上也查到了the amounts of后面跟复数的情况。

the amounts of suspected carcinogens 这里的核心词是amounts,指数量，注意amounts前面有the! 而不是像a large amout of后面跟不可数名词时，核心词是后面的名词。

这句话是说，致癌物的“数量”超过了。。。注意句意就可以了。

我选E，也不是根据所谓的amounts来判定的，纯粹靠主谓用法

A.    far exceeds those that humans could consume==>exceeds说明前面那个数量是单数，但是those就应该指代那个数量但是用的是复数，所以不一致错误
C.    far exceeds those humans are able to consume==>同A的错误
E.    far exceed those that humans could consume==>说明前面那个数量是复数，后面的those指代复数，正确

别死记啊，否则很容易被GMAC欺骗绕进去的

说实话 amount 和amounts直接的区别，还是真的不知道是怎么区别的，虽然这题比较简单。请后续的NN解释下 哈
