答案是E。主句是vehicles emit pollutants,为什么比较从句没有补出谓语动词啊。不是应该是 than do those burning gasoline or diesel fuel.为什么do 被省略了

我记得在哪个帖子里或者prep笔记里看过的，就是如果比较结构如果不存在歧义不必不出谓语动词。
