答案是A,可为啥D不行呢？

难道选A是因为who，and who的平行结构？

我觉得 with 引导独立主格，可以跳跃修饰呀， with在这里不管是修饰supreme being还是修饰 Esaugetu Emissee，都是说得通的。

再说了with这里从常识上看根本就不可能修饰floor吧？

求大N指点

D中, giving和taking在这里不如give, take好吧, 关于with我也是觉得修饰superme or EE都说得通

power of arrest/veto etc
即power of后面接的是名词
所以D用ing形式是不恰当的，give和take都有名词形式。
求教B是因为不能用where修饰比喻意义的realm吗？

是因为parallelism，平行结构貌似是一个优先级很高的语法点

是的呀，where只加具体地点，realm是抽象地点只能介词加which

我觉得如果一个modifier可以修饰两个成分的话，它是不是ambiguous
