C为何不对？
以上两个用法我提出疑问的选项都是从句形式，而给出的正确答案都是用名词形式，这个里面是否隐含了什么原则？

For the Darwin one, A is grammatically correct but wordy.  E, on the other hand, is a pithy way to say the right thing.

sdcar2010，这是个什么原则呢？按照GMAT的原则，动词优于名词和形容词，主动优于被动，那么这个原则是什么呢？

另外2个也麻烦给点解释吧：）

2. 未划线部分which前面是不是少了逗号?
第二题C的仅仅"the fact that"的表达是累赘的，in the fact that可以，不过第一题里面还是累赘，A和E比较表达的含义相同但是显然E简洁。我的想法是看到the fact that就要看看别的选项有没有更简洁的。
其次，a discussion can't begin with "a fact" but an acknowledgement. 否则仿佛那个fact是每次讨论时发生的第一件事。
再者，there is在GMAT里面的用法都是不接the fact这种抽象词的，它用在两个方面：1.自然存在 2.统计数据。

3.little是名词，that做关系代词，即定语从句引导词。
