1。楼主你这样改把racing和bouncing用and连接共同修饰automobile是改变原文的意思了……不能说是怎么看着顺眼级怎么该，原文的意思是要保持的。bouncing在逻辑上是不能修饰tunnel的，tunnel不是bounce的动作发出者，因此也没有修饰歧义一说。如果某个现在分词在形式上和结构上同时可以修饰两个对象，这样会导致修饰歧义。
2.原文是特指，用who引导从句来修饰historian了，是不能改成泛指的，这样又扭曲原文意思了。
3.A中be 和diminish是并列的，都跟在could后面，是要用原型的。
那么E中have更是直接跟在could 后面的，当然用原型了，同时diminish和have并列。
of having是用来修饰possibility的

第二个e没有错。。。c的错误是a historian单数，与后边的their own time 不相对应。

这里的in writing不就是做定语修饰historians吗？所以这里也是特指的
只不过原文是用who引导从句来修饰而已了，在表达相同意思的情况下，直接用分词做定语比定语从句要简洁。
