这种题目挺难的，属于比较没有规则的题目
大部分题目答案可以分为两组，两组答案进行比较发现差距，选出正确答案
这个题目答案，都没有共性，很难发现答案间的差别，这个时候，我觉得对主语要进行比较，一般句子主语，要简洁，具体，不能有太多的定语

恩,主要是考了cost的用法,当然我觉得主旨还是简洁.
cost既然可以作为使...花费的意思,在这句中,当然主动动词形式就优于名词形式.除非句子为了强调cost这个名词...比如,这个cost和另外的cost的结合和对比,那就得用名词了.

同意楼上说法。这一题的考点是语义重复！而且because of 貌似不招ETS的喜欢。一般都爱做迷惑项出项出现。

Sorry but I made a mistake in my original comment. The usage of "because of" in B) and E) is grammatically correct.
However, GMAC prefers to use "because of" in a relatively straightforward way, such as "Because of A, X blah blah blah."
