关于申请加拿大MBA

我即将2个月后拿到移民签证，但是马上要交申请材料了。请问各位有经验的TX我是否要说明我即将成为PR呢？还是开始以International的身份申请？

tell them you are gonna be a PR....then they know you will have access to all the available loans which are not available to visa students...
the chance of you taking their offer will therefor be higher because of lesser financial burden...which would positively affect the yield rate.

and most importantly, canadian schools are usually easier on canadian and american applicants...

按国际学生申请吧。因为只要没登陆，就不是PR。一般如果按PR申请，学校表格上都要写登陆日期。有的学校比较开明，等来上学的时候填张表，就按本地学生交学费了。有的学校不开明，甚至申请时要寄给他们枫叶卡的复印件，而且申请时候是什么身份就得按什么身份交学费。

我也建议以准PR的身份申请，可能会更有竞争力！

we have the same situation, however i've already got Canada Imig. Visa. The school requests a landing paper number or PR number, so don't consider to apply as an international, you need to get the visa first, then landing asap to get the landing paper number, then complete the whole admission process in canada. Apply as an internatin first? Hard to imagine the school will auto change your status after you get the visa/landing paper...

如果只是landing paper number，你在拿到签证时的那张纸上就已经有了。而且现在已经不叫landing paper了，现在是confirmation of PR。LZ还是先以International student身份申请吧，其实是一样的，在将来拿到offer后，学校会要求提供PR身份证明，他们会按landed immigrant收费的。

另外，对大部分学校而言，新移民和留学生没有本质区别，招生时不会区别对待，只是学费不同。

那是有些学校会这么灵活。比如UBC，在申请的时候就要枫叶卡的复印件，并且说了申请的时候是什么身份，以后就按什么身份交学费，不能换身份
