这是一个结构 叫做 as be the case，多出现在比较的考点和同位语中。
case 是一个概念 表示 情况 状况。意思就是在这样的状况下。
该用法非常灵活，但是能适应的意思很多，大部分我见过的出现的题都是正确答案，但是主要还是考 “在这样的状况下”这样一种意思和前面出现的东西做对比或者解释

第二问的话，我这样理解 你看which前面的词，是seedcompanies。用which的话意思是seedcompanies as the case 逻辑明显不对。题目的意思是seedcompanies 不盈利 这件事 as the case。。。。而不是company本身是个case。
